Fund-raising for the ‘Healing Garden’ has been underway since January, our plan is to break ground in August and be completed by November. The purpose of the garden is to soothe the souls and refresh the spirits of the military and Veteran Families staying at The Fisher House.
If you are interested in making a donation for the Fisher House Healing Garden, please contact us. We are a not- for- profit organization under section 501(c)(3) of the IRS, Tax # 26-0190895.
We would like to Thank the Claddagh Fund and Knights of Columbus for their generous donations towards the Fisher House Healing Garden.
The Claddagh Fund is the charitable foundation of the Dropkick Murphys, founded by Ken Casey in 2009. Honoring the three attributes of the claddagh ring friendship, love, and loyalty. The mission of the Claddagh Fund is to raise money and awareness for the most underfunded charities that support vulnerable populations in our communities. With a grassroots approach to fundraising and charitable giving, the Claddagh Fund focuses support on children’s and veterans’ organizations and alcohol and drug recovery programs.
The Knights of Columbus was established in 1882 to provide a means by which Catholic men could support the Catholic Church, provide financial protection to protect their families, and engage in works of charity to benefit the less fortunate. Today, its nearly 1.8 million members make up the largest Catholic lay organization in the world, its insurance program has $74 billion of life insurance in force, and last year Knights donated more than $150 million and volunteered 68 million hours of their time to charity. From helping children in need to providing wheelchairs for the physically disabled and support for the intellectually handicapped, from helping to stock food banks to offering top-rated and affordable life insurance to its members, the Knights has been at the service of the communities in which we live and the needy around the world for more than 127 years.

To ease the burden of our Veterans and their families during difficult times. To serve those who have served.
Fisher House Boston’s mission is to be responsive to the needs of our guests and go above and beyond what the VA can provide. We strive to meet the basic comfort needs of our guests, as well as enhance the healing and supportive environment of the house, during some of the most difficult times in our guest lives.
With your support, we have provided more than 40,000 tickets to wounded, injured, and ill service members and their families, worth over $73 million (average savings per ticket is currently about $1,400).
