Fisher House Boston's mission is to provide a home away from home where military families (active, guard, veteran, or retired) can stay, free of charge, while a loved one is receiving in-house treatment at any of our world-renowned medical centers in Boston.

For military families receiving treatment at one of our world-renowned Boston Hospitals, the family will be placed in a 4-star hotel conveniently located next to the hospital their loved one is receiving treatment at. To receive this housing the military member does not need to be the patient, we will also provide housing when the military members spouse or child are receiving treatment as well. There is no cost to stay with the Fisher House of Boston; we pay or your room, tax, and parking at the hotel.

We help with the planning and logistics of lodging for the duration of your visit. For planned hospitalizations we work with the patient, family, medical team, and hotels to anticipate needs and coordinate the most therapeutic and supporting housing and support possible.

We understand that having your family to help and support you is the best medicine! We do everything we can to keep your family together when their support is most needed. We also receive support in the form of gift cards from local businesses these gift cards are distributed to our families in hotels to help to offset some of the cost of meals during their stay with us.
